Today, as with every other September 11th since it happened 17 years ago, we will be reminded to never forget what happened that fateful day. How could we? We can no longer expect privacy, safety is our new value. We can no longer expect to be left alone to pursue our best case life, security is our new value. We can no longer expect to freely exchange ideas, ignorance in exchange for acceptance is our new value. But hey….. we’re safe.
